Artwork Description

This drawing is one of a series I'm currently working on featuring the animals at Gumbuya World. Over the summer I am doing live demonstrations which will be added here.
This Tasmanian devil was drawn as a warm up demo before heading out to demonstrate at the park.
These drawings are a great entry level price point for my wildlife work and have been a welcome return to my roots as a wildlife artist.
Available in either a black or white frame

Artist Bio

I am an artist and art tutor, working in pencil, pastel, acrylics, oils, watercolour and scratchboard. My background is in traditional pictorial signwriting, and currently I'm a lead designer in a sign company, designing vehicle wraps and coming second worldwide in Wrap like royalty in 2024. I have held 3 successful solo shows and many group shows over the years with my work in private collections both local and abroad.

My works have collected numerous awards at art shows over the past decade, including being a finalist in the A.M.E Bale works on paper and a finalist in the BBC Wildlife Artist of the year.

Wildlife is my passion (I have run shows at Melbourne Zoo and also Monarto Zoo in South Australia), but I also love painting coastal and rural scenes.

On any given day I'll be working in a different medium, often demonstrating in the classroom or online, and I like being able to utilize techniques from one medium into another.

I work with a primary colour palette and have spent years working with pure pigments, developing my own pastel range.

I accept commission work, including portraits. If you have any questions regarding my work feel free to message me
