In my early twenties I backpacked around Europe and found many idyllic little villages scattered along the coast of Italy -and fell in love with them. This painting encompasses the warmth, the vibrance of color, and the art of spending time doing nothing but relaxing- and being present in enjoying your life, which the Italians are so good at doing. So - like me, if you're not sure you'll ever make it back there - or get there in the first place, looking at this print in a cozy little part of your home might help to still give you that feeling- and a "time-out" from your day.
