This painting belongs to a series where my focus was on different kinds of waves. I painted it in Acrylic on canvas. The idea formed when I was having a late afternoon surf, watching the sun's orange glow on the face of the waves. I'm always fascinated by the variation of colour that our ocean takes on and my intent was to portray that. This painting makes me feel calm and my hope is that it does that for you too.
