I have had a love of art all my life, my earliest childhood memories of art are passionately drawing on my bedroom walls, splashes of colour covering my walls allowing my imagination to run wild.
The first time I used alcohol inks I instantly fell in love.
The way they flowed across the paper was so fluid, giving a sense of unpredictability and spontaneity which allowed my mood to dictate the direction of my creation.
I love the vibrant colours and the brightness of these inks, highlighted with splashes of shiny metallics. Working with them brings me immense joy, and sharing this passion while teaching this to others both continues to help my creativity and always makes me smile.
I am inspired by our wonderful coast, the endless blues of the ocean, the kaleidoscope of colours of every sunrise and sunset, and the dreamy swirls of colour in the immense depths of space.
