Blue Wren Ed. 7 of 50

This is a handcoloured linocut print. It is hand printed on Rice Paper using oil based inks. The male Blue Wren flits in and out of the undergrowth and lands oh so briefly on the barbed wire to survey the scene. It's blue plumage only visible in the warmer months as in the cooler months it reverts in colouring closer to it's female mate.
