As a child, Lesley Davies loved to draw and paint, it was the only thing she ever wanted to do, and it was an escape from a difficult childhood.
When she left school it was a career in Art she pursued, completing a course at East Sydney Tech in Commercial Art. She has been practicing art ever since, and has won several awards.
After getting married she moved to acreage, and found inspiration in the bush surrounds and the wildlife within. Painting a wide range of Native birds and animals, she started creating a cute range of Aussie wildlife - Bush Babies Downunder was born. A commercial range of Prints, cards and a variety of other items, all Australian made. Her daughters now run the business with an Australiana range of removable wall decals.
With a love of a range of media including; Sculpture, pencil drawing, watercolours and her latest passion - Acrylics. Her new range of Artworks are large Abstracts, with a view of creating works for the home decorator. Making a bold statement to complement the décor in your home.
