Freckled Albino

I’m pleased to be presenting ”Freckled Albino” today. Freckles is my 2nd attempt at painting after suffering 3 breaks in my pelvis, I was a little afraid that I couldn’t paint any more. Well I can, even if it took far longer than I was used to.
I am fascinated with ‘freckles’ and also by very pale (almost albino) skin. Tiles of very pale neutral shades cover her and so the freckles on top of these become more noticeable. Her eyelashes and eyebrows appear to be snow covered. She drifts in and out of a cloudlike background of neutral tones.
If you are looking to create a quiet and peaceful space, or if you are looking to tone down a vibrant decor, ‘Freckles’ is for you. The focal point of a room should be something that is instantly visible upon entering the space. This is a statement piece over 1metre tall and will certainly provide you with that focal point.

Your painting is fitted with D rings and wire for easy hanging. The edges of your painting are finished in a fawn shad. It is suitable for hanging with or without framing.
My work is held in both private and corporate collections within Australia and in Canada, the US, Europe, Japan, N.Z. and the UK.
