The lace and satin detailing on neck and sleeve have an iridescent sheen which is, unfortunately, is not easy to photograph, but trust me she shimmers softly, especially in low light. Her rings earrings and cap have been rendered in metallic paints and also give off a low sheen.
Being just over a metre square she is a statement piece and will be comfortable on coloured or light walls and will suit either a contemporary or a traditional home. The edges have been finished in black for a modern style finish.
My work is held in both private and corporate collections within Australia and N.Z. and also in N.America, the U.K. and Europe.
