Artwork Description

Imagine being up ‘there’ in space and looking down on another planet. This Spice World,
might be what you see.

The focal point of a room should be something that is instantly visible upon entering the space.
In all the gorgeous rich colours of spices ( turmeric, cayenne, chilli mustard, cinnamon) etc. with touches of green, pink, rust and cream, this is a statement piece 102 cm square and will certainly provide you with that focal point.

Quality Acrylic paints, oil sticks and gold leaf have been used on a lightly textured, stretched canvas.
Your painting is fitted with D rings and wire for easy hanging.
The edges of your painting are finished in light tan, which makes it suitable for hanging with or without framing.
Your painting is signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
My work in is both private and corporate collections in Australia, the U.K., Europe, Japan, N.Z., the USA and Canada. IF an overseas purchase, to cut courier costs substantially, I am prepared to detach the canvas from the wooden stretcher so it can be rolled and sent in a TUBE. You will need to take the canvas to your local framer to have it stretched and/or framed.

Artist Bio

Lesley Taylor, who signs her work pin100 (don't ask her why, she won't tell you) hopes her sense of humour and her whimsical outlook on life connects with you "I’ve always been fascinated by faces and what they can express without words. My theatre career has sharpened my observations of people and their idiosyncrasies, and these observations form the bones of my art work. My latest work has been figurative, in acrylics, oil sticks, and charcoals. I studied English and Art ( Cambridge Institute) and I have been involved in theatre and art in England and Australia for many years. "
