In the cup of your hand a soul pure pauses
Born of sunlight dancing and dew
Let her rest for a moment
For this colourful one has chosen you.

Her world of natural beauty
From there she saw you
As your lonely heart like a lantern
Shone worthy and true.

But ever be gentle
Go slowly
Be kind
Handle careful
Like a petal
Of a flower divine.

So come, she calls softly
Through our woods we shall go
Fly on a lit pathway that nobody knows
Through ancient Oak and berry bramble and tunnels so green
Touching wood folk and soft creatures
With love we shall weave,
Kissing together often
Our life we shall live
In a day
In a moment
With every flutter of our wings.
