I've been really drawn to all the flowers and wildlife since coming home. Although there are many plants not native to Australia in my area, the versatility of shapes and colour is incredibly stimulating.
Working in ink takes the focus away from colour giving me a chance to explore the variety of shape and texture in the flowers, while still maintaining a kind of ethereal vibrancy.

This work is called SILENT CHORUS after the birds of paradise flower.
