This artwork evokes the colour palette used to create a deep valley surrounded by mountains, with a jacaranda tree sheltered in its embrace. The petals from the jacaranda fall into the tree's shadow and into the valley field.
The approach to my Palette series is to evoke the sense of a place through the abstraction of form and use of blended colours.
