Artwork Description

Charmion is part of a Limited-Edition collection. Each limited-edition print is signed and numbered by Liesel and includes a certificate of authenticity.

Charmion was known as the trusted servant and advisor to Cleopatra VII of Egypt. She is so deeply loyal to Cleopatra, she too has an asp bite her and dies alongside her mistress.

In the play Antony and Cleopatra; Shakespeare depicts Charmion as saucy and given to making racy jokes on every available pretext.

All work is sold as a loose print and carefully rolled in a thick tube with bubble wrap for safe shipping.

For getting your print framed, technically add a 7cm matt board and a 5cm width frame around image as a guideline.

Custom sizes and framing available on request.

Artist Bio

I am an underwater portrait photographer with a focus on the movement of the suspended human body and how the body can tell a story.

Underwater portraits lure the audience in, and ignite the imagination through the elegance and movement of the human body under weightlessness.

With my pieces, I like to create a space that doesn’t look quite real; the perspective that is not of this world or in a dreamlike state. The air of mystery and connection to a different time and place provokes thoughts and conversations.

I am very happy to talk to you about creating a commission befitting a space.

Thank you for taking the time to review my work.
