But she could see what was needed here - The Lyrian, aglow with that special light came carrying a bramble branch and a scroll sealed with secrets.
She presses it against the nearest shoulder. The message has been delivered. What happens next is up to them…

I'm a self-taught figurative oil painter based in Brisbane, Australia.
My work straddles both the temporal and spiritual worlds. I paint mostly large-scale, symbolic paintings built from rich, layered colour and intention.
I like to explore moments that are hard to name but easy to recognise and relate to when you see it.
I gravitate towards work you can live with for years and keep finding new things in.
My process is intuitive and unhurried, each painting built up in layers until it sings! And my colour palette leans into gemstone tones. I love working with deep crimsons, rich teals, burnished golds and navy blues.
