This is a little interior I painted during my solo exhibition, exhibition.name, at The Art Post gallery. I painted it in a couple of hours, alla prima, from life. The gallery itself used to be the very first Post Office on Tamborine Mountain, and it has beautiful wooden floorboards, and quite a lovely atmosphere. It was calming to paint this, while interacting with visitors here and there. The old bench is from a church, and the flowers and oranges are from my yard. #fca816 is approximately the colour of the oranges.
