Artwork Description

Inspired by Dutch and German still life painting, with a fairy bread twist and against the backdrop of a moonless night sky. It was painted from life.

This painting would look fantastic hung salon style with other paintings, or would be just as happy on its own. It will look its best hung in a light filled room but out of direct sunlight.

Artist, illustrator, engineer. Sharing the things I make and living on a beautiful mountain. 🎨

I love painting in different styles and creating whatever takes my fancy. I like to think you can see my voice in each piece I create. I love making still life, landscape, portraits, woodworking, and colour pencil illustrations

My work has been exhibited all around the world and is held by numerous private collectors. I've had my work featured in publications including Frankie, Little White Lies (UK), Yen, NYLON, Elle Girl (South Korea), as well as countless others. You can find my illustrations on all 10 Aussie covers of the Friday Barnes series by R.A. Spratt.

My experience in illustration includes advertising, children’s book illustration, textile design, editorials, asset creation for an animated TV commercial. Clients include Penguin Random House Australia, Oxfam America, Officeworks, and Saatchi & Saatchi.

I also lived in Germany for years and am fluent in the language and loved visiting museums when I lived there. You can see the influence of my time there in my still life paintings.
