Rust

This artwork is meant to reflect the dominating effect of rust. It is a representation of the different phases of metal rusting. I used a combination of palette knives, paint scrapers, and thick brushes. A neutral colour pallet makes it perfect for many spaces, creating interest with texture.

I am a 20 year old local girl from Coffs Harbour and I absolutely adore creating art when I'm not working. I enjoy using graphite, charcoal, and pen to create still life drawings, and extended those skills when attending the HSC intensive workshop at The National Art School. I have recently been creating realistic landscape scenes of local beaches with oil paints. I also enjoy creating abstract paintings with acrylics. I aspire to keep creating beautiful art and fuel my passion, which I think is important in a young artist. I appreciate any support!
