Artwork Description

A different view of a beach, this bird's eye view captures the big turquoise blue waves in action as they wash up the shore.

This painting is unique in capturing the waves from a drone view perspective rather than the typical view standing on the beach. The might of the waves crashing and creating a pattern on the sand, the calmness of the sea transforming into roughness in the foams of waves and the contrasting colours of blue to turquoise to white to brown, creates a lasting impression of the vast ocean.

The blue waters are a typical view of an Australian beach in the summer, perfect for a day of surfing. Imagine a drone flown above the waters to catch a glimpse of the beautiful sea.

Perfect for the beach lovers and surfers, adding a splash in your space or even for someone who craves a holiday or reminisces one!

Artist Bio

I'm amazed at how an artwork can form a part of a long lasting memory or soothe the weary eyes.. take someone on an imaginative world or just simply brighten the space. I'm glad that through my works, I can let my fellow beings experience this.

If you have read 'The Secret' by Rhonda Byrne, you'll see how paintings around you can influence your thoughts and help you achieve what you want. Like a Painting related to your dream destination, will bring you closer to visiting it sooner. A family portrait, will remind your loved ones the bonding you have with them.

I'm Lily Gabriel, a passionate artist from Sydney, who loves to paint with her heart and soul. Painting landscapes, animals, natural beauty, traditional Indian themes with great attention to detail are my abilities.
I mostly use acrylics and watercolour based paints and oils too.
As a child, I grew up having interest in drawing and painting cartoons and doing henna designs in summer vacations (thanks to my Mum), which later transitioned into detailed science diagrams, so much so that my friends would think I’ve traced them.

I had the skills in me to paint, but just never took flight coz I was unaware of my true potential and also coz of life’s priorities. With lockdown, I got more time to take up the brush again and go in full grace with painting again, not with cartoons this time, but with more mature brush strokes and gradual learning.

With my artworks, I would love to spread happiness, vibrancy and add meaning to empty spaces.
