Resurgam

This is a bright and colourful piece that was an absolute pleasure to work on. This painting is called 'Resurgam' which means 'I will rise again' - much like the setting sun in this picture.

This piece is of a bikini clad woman seated by a lake watching the sun set over a rivermouth. To me, this picture serves as a reminder that although dark times maybe be approaching, there is always a sunrise waiting at the end of it.

Oh, and I hope it will bring a wonderful punch of colour to your home :)

I am a 25 year old doctor who has recently rediscovered my passion for art over the past year. Painting has recently been a hobby for me that I engage in every day after a busy day at the hospital.

I grew up in the small farming town of Northam - about 100km East of Perth. The years I spent growing up there were magical for me and I hope they will inspire my art as I develop my skills.

I believe art truly is everywhere if you know where to look.

I will just finish up with one of my favourite quotes from Mr Dahl that I have carried with me since childhood. This has strongly influenced the way in which I see the world and I hope it will reveal itself through my art.
