Mental Hijinks

The colours and marks of my artwork often reflect my recent work life. Sometimes chaotic, sometimes calm, and sometimes just reflective of the mental hijinks that were required. Splashes of periwinkle purple and cheery orange with aqua, brown and yellow and navy blue lines.

This piece is large enough to make a real statement and the mix of cheerful colours will match any modern décor

My name is Lily White and I started to get into artwork regularly as a means to reduce stress from my day-to-day job. I like to keep it simple and uncluttered. The simplicity of acrylic painting helps to minimise the steps to completion. I am not formally trained but have attended workshops to learn the fundamentals of my medium.

My art reflects my mood and the topics are chosen for the same reason. Easily bored I will flit between different styles and topics, focusing on what resonates with me at the time of creation.

Inspiration can come from anywhere, a pattern, a subset of something larger, or even a blast from the past! I will continue to create while I am able, making affordable art with quality materials for the sheer pleasure of it
