This painting is inspired by the time when it snowed in the Blue Mountains and having grown up with it (I was born in Cardiff, S. Wales ) I'm always excited when I see it snow. Captured this scene of Katoomba creek with my camera, the snow was melting on arrival but there were still glimpses of it on the plants and trees.

As you can see I paint the finer details that we sometimes miss in the rush of life, paying attention to each leaf and branch, after all Mother Nature deserves our full attention.
