Wild Bloom

This piece was inspired by the stunning coastline of Kangaroo Island - an unforgettable landscape where wind twisted trees and wildflowers grow together in quiet harmony.
I was drawn to the contrast between shadow and bloom, the sense of life pushing up through the tangle.
I’ve used a pearly shimmer in the background light, something I’ve started exploring in a few of my works to catch the eye and echo that soft glowing light you sometimes see in the bush.
