Another portrait which references (self) perception and (self) identity. Historically Ariel can be linked to elements of nature and paradoxically occasionally demon as well as angel.

I am a visual artist currently working from Praxis Art Studios in Adelaide. My work embraces both a technical and creative process. I often begin by photographing objects of interest and then use a process of abstraction, manipulation and colour enhancement to transform the original imagery. These processes require continual problem solving skills in order to create compositions which are both harmonious and eye catching with the large scale format creating bold stand alone pieces.
