I am a visual artist currently working from Praxis Art Studios. My paintings are essentially the manifestation in visual form of connections I make to specific subjects, objects, ideas, memories, myths or narratives. Depending on subject matter my work can be described as either utilising a surreal, fantasy inspired approach or referencing a hard edge pop style. More recently I am manipulating original or iconic photographic imagery to create new work. My work is very much shaped by my design background (graphic and interior) as well as my formal visual art education resulting in a leaning towards more stylised imagery which is underpinned by strong colour theory considerations.
