This artwork is from a series of large-scale leaves, using original photographic images that have been enlarged and abstracted to create colour saturated, eye-catching works. It multiple layers of colour applied beneath the surface floral image.

I am a visual artist currently working from Praxis Art Studios in Adelaide. My work embraces both a technical and creative process. I often begin by photographing objects of interest and then use a process of abstraction, manipulation and colour enhancement to transform the original imagery. These processes require continual problem solving skills in order to create compositions which are both harmonious and eye catching with the large scale format creating bold stand alone pieces.
