This original watercolour, is of a sweet white daisy. The white daisy 'pops' against a subtle green and yellow background. It was a really enjoyable artwork to paint, as daisies are my favourite flower. Not just the white ones, I love pink daisies, yellow daisies, African daisies and coastal daisies. If I could only ever have one type of flower in a garden, I'd choose daisies. I've always thought that daisies look like happy flowers. It probably seems like a strange comment but, they just add so much pretty simplicity to gardens, vases or bouquets.
The artwork is A5 size (21 cm high and 14.85 cm wide). It will need to be framed behind glass and as with all watercolours should be hung out of direct sunlight.
