It’s home time. You’ve counted the minutes to this, and the sense of freedom is almost upon you - but the boss asks for one more thing before you leave. It’s only a 5 minute job, so you smash it out, then jump in the car and burn rubber. But then - F@$k; that 5 minutes has cost you your jump on the traffic. It’s bumper to bleeping bumper. The traffic lights seem to never turn green, roadworkers have decided now is a good time to set up, and some muppet has been t-boned trying to turn right! Your 20 minutes home, will now be an hour, and so will all the other’s around you. First, there’s eye-rolling and cursing, then there’s a begrudging acceptance that this is city life. Everyone’s excitement to get home has now dwindled to a mild hope that they don’t miss Neighbours. Presenting ‘High Tide Traffic ’ the fish equivilant of peak hour traffic.
