It’s 3.25pm and every parent is vying for a spot somewhere within a half marathon’s distance of the school. It’s utter chaos; caught up in the kerfuffle are unlucky locals residing in the school zone, just trying to get home. There’s lollipop ladies, kids on bikes, and some jack-ass with a trailer taking up space! The line of cars looks like a funeral procession and if you’re making a right turn into the pick up bay, you can expect to be there until Jesus returns! You think you see a spot, but it’s a disabled parking bay. It’s every over-worked mum for themselves, as they all wonder in unison; does perimenopause count as a disability?
