ANXIETY (framed and ready to hang)

This drawing/painting is painted in only two reds and two blues plus clear gesso. These colours and the wrought fingers digging into flesh depict the crippling anxiety felt by many people. The hair flows down the side of the image morphing into the shadow of the body to complete a circle of self-contained agony.

Currently living in Harcourt Central Victoria, I am still organizing the refurbishment of a shed into a functional studio. In the meantime, I'm making a bit of a mess on a table in my lounge room. -
