Born in South Africa to a Portuguese father and Afrikaans mother in 1973. Art was always an escape from living in a conflicted enviroment. Extracting the beauty in every moment is what her art is about. Linda pulls from her past career as a textile designer and tattoo artist to bring vibrancy and detail to her work. Since moving to Australia in 2001 she has been in awe of the magnificent Australian wild life, in particular the loud colorful birds. These make an appearance in almost all her work. Linda paints for the love and the escape it provides.
