Lindy Brodie grew up in Alroy Down, Barkly Tablelands, and spend her childhood, drawing and painting. She started her career as an artist in Alice Springs before returning to Tennant Creek and joining โPink Palaceโ Julalikari Arts in 2002, before becoming a founder member of the Tatukula Artists group at Barkly Regional Arts in 2012, with her fellow artists Susannah Nelson (passed), Ruth Dawson (passed) and Gladys Anderson (passed).
She illustrated through a series of very large works the construction and the usage of the Ghan Train linking Darwin to Adelaide and stopping near Tennant Creek. She has also contributed to a large exhibition about Monsters at Tarnanthi, collection purchased by AIATSIS.
