My works are of various forms; collage, watercolour, printmaking and textiles.I live on the Gold Coast Queensland. I am surrounded by a bush oasis which is ever changing. The explosion of growth after the rain houses my reference for works. The textures and insect life within the perimeters of my backyard and gardens are my inspiration. As a child I sat under the silver birch tree, which was home to many cicadas. This was the beginning of my fascination for insects. I live so close to the ocean this is also my inspiration sub tropics, blues, sea life. I have a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Art and Craft, My experience in the arts is extensive.I was Artist in Residence for the Gold Coast Hospital for ten years.I have worked as a a freelance illustrator,in galleries and as a representative for national art material companies.
