This painting is inspired from My grandmother Violet .She lived out Bush in Mathoura forest in huts and she planted Freesias out there .Which is now national Park land But i luckly got some of bulbs from there so every year Her Freesia bloom and I think of her .I also put a Australian Mitchell Cockatoo lovely and colourful To show That you have to be proud of your past no matter what . Hi my name is Lindy Clark I’m a full time Self Taught Artist in Deniliquin NSW . I love painting in Acrylic ,Mixed Media and Watercolour and Oils . And drawing I with digital art too. I was raised in a small country town Mathoura I’m a single mum and love my family . I love nature it has always inspires me to Paint Australian Fauna and Flora I seem to always go back to Blue Wrens Painting them gives me such joy and happiness . I am a proud Aboriginal woman My Father was raised in the Mathoura forest with his Mother and Sister . We as a family Loved Camping in bush land and always on Murray and Edward river. I try and telling stories with my paintings and hope to bring Joy and make people feel something when looking at my art . Also I try to bring awareness about environmental issues or personally struggles . I love working with Bright colours because when I do it brings me Joy and makes me happy . ‘ I am playing around with all different colours and Mediums to see how it makes me feel I love to trying new techniques .
