“Giggle Pot"

This is a piece created as a donation for the charity Country Hope . Country Hope supports families with a child diagnosed with cancer OR other life threatening illnesses. Bringing relief when it matters most.

I painted “Giggle Pot” to remind you that there is still fun, happiness and joy in family life, despite the difficulties, and heartbreak of families living in the journey that is childhood illness.

I'd love this piece to bring joy to your home, and provide much needed funds for this wonderful charity.

Growing up in the 80s, Lindy’s love for bold, electric colours translates into her spirited, layered artworks, which she paints from her home studio: a chaotic space scattered with acrylic paints, inks, and pastels in every colour of the rainbow.
Through an instinctive, free-spirited process, Lindy experiments with these media to create richly textured works that aim to evoke joy and elation, taking inspiration from the world around her in regional New South Wales. She finds ideas for her artworks from her travels around Australia, and more recently Europe, and her life on the farm.
Lindy takes joy from the community of artists in the local Gallery and Studio. She enjoys working there where she teaches children’s classes and workshops, as well as having the opportunity to curate the artworks in the Gallery. This all contributes to helping her art practice evolve.
