Highs & Lows in a Modern World

This 90 x 90cm artwork represents the many shapes of a modern world. We all have peaks and troughs, we rush back and forth, we mosey along until the next high or low. We have dark periods, but strive for happier times. And sometimes we simply go round in circles with bumps in our path. That’s the epitome of life. It’s how it is in our busy society; we just have to remember to put things into perspective, one block at a time.

I love textures, colors and blending all in the name of creating a beautiful piece of unique artwork. Since my childhood I was always creative, often ridiculed for the time I 'wasted' pursuing and developing my creative streak. And indeed I did let it lapse for too long. However, as I matured and allowed my suppressed love to reemerge, I discovered that maturity and inner peace has indeed allowed my art to develop in ways of which I'm very proud. I hope you too, the observer of my creations, can also find love in what I create.
