This dramatic, Australian native flora illustration features the striking, mature seed pod of a Banksia. Distinctively shaped, the surface features intricate patterns including openings that contain the seeds. The brown, woody cone contrasts with the dark green leaves.

Artwork is hand drawn using waterproof pigment liners, then select areas are painted with watercolour. Sections are intentionally left with no colour, to add a modern, design element. Coloured pencil helps to define, create detail and texture to each piece. High quality, 300gsm watercolour paper. Sprayed with permanent matt finish to protect the artwork.
