This sweet illustration captures the soft and fluffy face of a young koala holding onto a Eucalyptus branch. They leave their mother to take care of themselves sometime between one and two years of age, usually when the mother’s next joey comes out of the pouch.

Coloured pencil helps to define and give more detail to each piece. White gouache is used for highlights. High quality, 300gsm watercolour paper.
