Gungurru Buds

It's March, and this Eucalyptus Caesia tree is about to flower. It has chalky looking white buds and stems. I walk past this tree on my dog walks, and will snip a flower to draw when it comes out (with permission of my lovely neighbour Sue). I have been inspired by recent botanical drawing classes to try and capture these plants in more detail.

I picked up the brush and pencils to work full time as an artist after I left my paid job in mid 2020. I graduated with Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) in 2025 and am now working across many mediums, including small sculpture pieces.
