The rainbow on Mt Franklin depicts the nature of the areas as a cultural melting pot and evokes the efforts of FCV staff who planted vegetation on its slopes post the 1969 bushfire.

The image is at low tide as the estuary is not reaching the ocean , which is obscured from view by low dunes and rocks. There are smaller pools of water stranded from the main body of the estuary.
