Pear and citrus

I look for pleasing arrangements of everyday objects - in this case I chose fruit for its interesting shapes and the colour contrast against the stark white background, the cast shadows creating an almost 3D effect.

This small square commenced with an underpainting of burnt umber then built layers to the final product then glossed.
