Gracefully cruising along the edge of the ice bank, a pod of humpback whales kept our boat occupied for hours. Creating bubble nets to scoop up the krill then spouting and diving on repeat, each time providing an opportunity to photograph their tail against the contrasting white icebergs.
This is one of my favourite images from Greenland and makes me smile every time I remember this moment, totally in awe of nature and this frozen wilderness that has so many changes ahead.
