Artwork Description

The starting point for this painting, as with many of my works, is the eyes. They are the 'window to the soul,' offering a glimpse into the inner world of the subject. Through the eyes, I aim to capture the essence of human emotion and consciousness, making them the focal point of the painting. The eyes in "Future Tune” are intended to draw the viewer in, inviting them to look deeper and connect with the soul of the subject.
The surrounding elements—the butterflies, and flowers are symbolic of the harmony and interconnectedness of all living things. Butterflies, in particular, hold a special significance. They are often seen as symbols of transformation and renewal, embodying the beauty of change and growth. The flowers represent the delicate and fleeting nature of life, while also symbolising resilience and the cycles of nature.
The vintage glasses and ear phones are a nod to the passage of time and the layers of history that shape our present. They symbolise a lens through which we can view the world differently, gaining new perspectives and insights. They become a bridge between the past and the present, a keeper of ancient wisdom and a visionary of the future tune played.
