Artwork Description

Bring the clean blues and greens of the ocean and forest into your home, and as you peer through the shales of colour, grab your glimpse of a better world…
A calming, soothing piece that represents the natural environment that we want to protect, as well as symbolising peace and harmony.
A textured piece (see the close up) with deceptively simple blended acrylic paint on canvas.

Artist Bio

"Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his picture." Henry Ward Beecher

Creativity has always made my heart sing. The medium and mode of delivery was irrelevant, the internal drive pushed on.... learn it, create it, master it. Having been born into a working class family in Adelaide, Australia however, artistic endeavours sat firmly outside the expectations of the real world of life. Unsurprisingly, it’s only later in life that I've had the courage to pursue art as a worthwhile career and an expression of my inquisitive imaginative mind.

An eternal optimist who is passionate about creating a more equitable, compassionate world, I cannot produce art about bleakness and despair; love, light, hope and joy always emerge the victors. Fascinated by colour and shapes, abstract design and impressionism, my art is like being lost in my imagination, allowing the mind to delve into the unknown and endless possibilities of a better world.
