Artwork Description

From the reds, orange and black of fire and brimstone, emerges beauty of eternity, strength and renewal.
The phoenix is said to be a mythical bird that came from the ashes of death to bring new life.
A fun take on the mythology - full of bright gorgeous colours, flames, flowers, smoke and air - providing a statement artwork to spark discussion.
Predominantly painted in acrylic, some of the finishing touches are done will oils.
Please allow 2 weeks for the artwork to be framed prior to postage.

Artist Bio

"Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his picture." Henry Ward Beecher

Creativity has always made my heart sing. The medium and mode of delivery was irrelevant, the internal drive pushed on.... learn it, create it, master it. Having been born into a working class family in Adelaide, Australia however, artistic endeavours sat firmly outside the expectations of the real world of life. Unsurprisingly, it’s only later in life that I've had the courage to pursue art as a worthwhile career and an expression of my inquisitive imaginative mind.

An eternal optimist who is passionate about creating a more equitable, compassionate world, I cannot produce art about bleakness and despair; love, light, hope and joy always emerge the victors. Fascinated by colour and shapes, abstract design and impressionism, my art is like being lost in my imagination, allowing the mind to delve into the unknown and endless possibilities of a better world.
