My ceramic vases and sculptures are all made without the assistance of a potter's wheel. Everything is hand built, either from slabs or coils or a combination of them.

My style is a sculptural style of ceramic art, I prefer to use white fine clay as it allows the real beauty of clay and the patterns to stand out.

These are decorative items - sculptural vases. This hand built, one of a kind decorative vases are made of a white earthenware clay.
A slab method was used on the building this vases. Fired. Both vases are large items, Bride weight is 1.4 kg , hight - 38cm, width - 26.5cm . Groom weight - 2 kg, hight - 45cm, width - 33.5cm. Colour is creamy white and black.

I did not use glaze due to the decorative patterns added. Glazing often eats away all the texture and effects on the surface of clay. It has a highly polished finish, there is no any rough lumps of clay. This is done by hours of careful hand sanding and cleaning. These vases can be used for flowers if you put a narrow plastic vessel inside to put some water.
