Artwork Description

Prince Charming is the second artwork in a series of three. Black cockatoos are ancient beasts that once blackened the skies in Western Australia in the 1970s. Fast forward to today, and they are critically endangered. I often see these beautiful creatures in small flocks near my home in Palmyra, near Fremantle. They only fly this far west when their food resources have been exhausted in the Perth hills. It is always with mixed feelings that I see them gracefully floating above me. I wanted to capture these beautiful creatures as the Royalty that they are.
