Splendid Fairy Wren

These beautiful Fairy Wrens often jump ahead when I'm wandering around Kings Park. They bring such joy, and it's always so magical to see them. I used to 'wet on wet' technique, where you add a small puddle of water to the paper, and slowly add colour. I think this captures the sudden 'blur' that these quick birds create. There one second, gone the next!
