Ten years ago, I embarked on my artistic journey by joining a ‘Painting for Adult Beginners’ class at the Brunswick studio of the Fitzroy Painters. Under the expert guidance of Adriane Strampp and, later, in the Atelier class with Kez Hughes, my creative beginnings blossomed into a passion for oil painting.
With the encouragement and invaluable advice from both Adriane and Kez, I developed my technical skills and artistic insight. This growth led to the exciting opportunity to exhibit my work in group shows, including with the Fitzroy Painters, at Print Maker Gallery, community art shows run by Rotary Australia, Melbourne and Victorian Artists, and the Victorian Art Society.
My practice continues to be inspired by the creative exploration that first drew me to the studio, and I look forward to sharing my evolving work with new audiences.
