Artwork Description

This painting tells the story of a South Coast destination Store called The Berry General Store.
Out the back of this beautiful old Berry Building which was once a bakery, there is a gallery space.
Local artists show their work here. The gallery adjoins a lively outdoor dining area and bar, where soft string lights dance above shared plates and local wines. On a mild autumn night, the atmosphere is thick with conversation and the faint scent of woodsmoke, making it impossible not to feel inspired. It isn’t just a destination; it’s a living painting of community, history, and the simple joy of a night well spent.

Artist Bio

I am a contemporary artist based in Cambewarra on the NSW South Coast.
I have a strong family history and connection with design and the arts, and I have followed creative pursuits since childhood.
A career in Graphic and Digital design was interrupted when life events ignited my passion in caring for the aged, a rewarding role I embraced for 15 years.
A trip to the outback in 2019 with a friend and fellow artist, followed by a successful exhibition with Fern Street Gallery, was the catalyst for a new creative vision.

I am now working full time as an artist, using various mediums for my intuitive and spontaneous works which reflect my passion for the natural world, colour and design
