Artwork Description

This is a portrait of renown Australian sculptor Ammun Luca painted in 2003 from several painting sessions. Actually, it happened to become a double-portrait, since there is a mirror reflection of the model on the background. The pose of the man is calm and relaxed, the face expression is meaningful and significant. All this somehow disagrees with another part of the image, model's reflection is shown as weak and uncertain. There is no contradiction, the portrait merely reveals the complexity of human personality.
